Our Vision
Did you know that paper counts for 26% of waste in landfills throughout the world and around 320 million books end up in landfill sites each year. In one year, the United States uses 32 million trees to produce books, and beyond just the paper, the ink used to print books pollutes the air, water and soil.

Our Story
Kate and Jules created The Book Box Co in 2024, it was born out of a love for books and a desire to share that passion with others, whilst drawing attention to the importance of buying preloved books.
Kate and Jules met ten years ago at university when they were only 19, and together have two beautiful children. Kate is an avid reader and literary enthusiast and reads on average two books a week. She also has two novels of her own published, with plans to write more. Whilst Kate has the passion for books, Jules has the business brain, creating the perfect partnership!
